How we make money
The short version
Right now, we don't. This site runs no ads and takes no commissions or referral fees from the companies it describes. We built it to compare life insurance honestly, and we're focused on being useful first. If we ever add advertising or a paid link, we'll say so plainly, on this page and on the page where it appears, before it goes live.
Today
No advertising. No affiliate or referral commissions. No sponsored placements. When you click out to a company or an official tool, that's a plain link. We're not paid when you do, and no company pays to appear here or to appear in any particular order.
If that changes later
To keep the site running as it grows, we may add advertising down the road, most likely ordinary display ads. If we do, the ads will be clearly labeled and kept separate from our comparisons, so you can always tell the difference between our writing and an ad.
We may also, someday, add a small number of clearly-marked partner links to companies you can buy from directly. If a link ever pays us, we will label it plainly right where it sits, not bury it in fine print. Our comparisons will not change based on who pays. A company can't buy a better write-up, a higher spot, or a place it didn't earn.
What we will never do
We will never sell your information, because we never collect it. We will never hide a paid relationship. And we will never let payment decide the order of a list or the substance of what we tell you.
